Dramatic Scene or Trailer
1. Select a scene or scenes from the novel.
2. Write a script.
3. Act out and videotape (One to two minutes in length) or create two GoAnimate.com movies.
Create a Caricature (2)
1. Use “SP-Studio” http://www.sp-studio.de/index.htm
2. Choose a character and a scene/chapter
3. Describe the scene, character’s physical traits, and personality traits
4. Include a quote or passage from the story
Soundtrack
1. Find several songs (eight to ten) which you think reflect the themes in the book.
2. Write liner notes explaining how each song or piece of music reflects something about the important messages of the novel or how it fits a certain scene.
3. You also need to identify one of the songs as “The Hunger Games Theme Song.”
4. You may burn a CD of the songs for the class can listen to
Create a Facebook page
1. Choose a character (either Katniss or Peeta) include personal information
2. Choose 6 friends (characters from the book) include recent activity
3. Create three ads for any aspect of the book.
4. Illustrate by hand or use copy and paste for “original” pictures
Theme Collage
1. Choose several prominent themes from the text (there at least eight)
2. Create a collage of images that represent these themes.
3. On the back of the collage, provide explanations for at least five of your images.

1. Select themes, character traits, events or combinations
2. Use wordle.net to create two “word clouds”
