HOW MAE SHOWS AN ACT OF KINDNESS TOWARD THE JOADS
In Chapter 15, Mae the waitress performs an act of kindness toward the man and his kids. Your homework is to do an act of kindness to someone at home and write about it. How did you feel doing it? How did they respond to your act of kindness? Would you do it again?
