SCHOOL HOLIDAY RESPITE PROGRAM

Fyi: School Holiday
Respite Program
School vacations present special challenges to students with disabilities – and their families!  Busy parents, balancing jobs, their own personal lives along with the demands of their children are most in need of some down time; to take care of errands and themselves.  Parents and other caregivers need and deserve respite from the countless extra demands of caring for a child with special needs.

At Contemporary Guidance Services, Inc., we understand that this can be overwhelming! Our School Holidays Respite Program serves students with Developmental Disabilities, Intellectual Disabilities or Autism Spectrum Disorders who have challenging behaviors. CGS offers safe and structured social and recreational activities during scheduled holidays when the public schools are closed.  CGS also provides families with the peace of mind that comes from knowing that their son or daughter is developing skills that foster independence and confidence while enjoying a program supervised by experienced professionals. Door-to-door transportation, including pick-up and drop-off, is part of this program.

Program Hours:

*     Manhattan: 9:30AM-3:30PM
*     Brooklyn: 10:00AM-3:00PM
